Hotel Merkur - Prague 3 Star Hotel
Hotel Merkur in its contemporary appearance was built in 1930´s on a site of two historical buildings – a 16th century brewery and a burgess estate. Remnants of those two sites are preserved on the underground level and partially also on the ground floor. A complete reconstruction has been done several years ago; the logo and the name of the hotel Merkur are originals from 1930´s. The hotel is located in a close proximity of the Prague’s historical city centre, near to all significant sights and the newly opened shopping mall Paladium, which offers a large number of shops, restaurants and other services.

Our hotel Merkur has a capacity of 50 rooms – 4 single, 33 double and 13 triple rooms. Each room is equipped with a bathroom (shower or bath), a hairdryer, a satellite TV and a safe. Moreover, we offer a free wifi hot spot. Breakfast is served in a form of a buffet – we are particular about preparing homemade food, giving it a personal touch, either for breakfast or for possible half-board.

Old Town square and Wenceslas square are only 15 minutes of a very pleasant stroll away. Being close to the city centre, our hotel offers excellent transportation possibilities – lines C and B of Prague’s subway are located approximately 50 meters from our hotel and most lines of buses and trams are within 2 minutes walk. A public parking lot is directly in front of the hotel building (30 crowns per hour). We offer a number of parking spaces for motorbikes and bicycles in our courtyard.
