"Hotel Mlýn" is situated in a historical centre of Cesky Krumlov at the end of a quiet blind alley directly on the bank of the river Vltava in a newly refurbished former water mill built at the end of the 15th century. There is a breakfast restaurant with a lobby bar on the ground floor. A unique spectacle of this room is a glass floor with a view of a mill-race and a small hydro-electric plant on the basement floor of the hotel Mlyn Cesky Krumlov. An exposition devoted to town history consisting in original archive sources is also found there.

An inexhaustible number of stylish restaurants, taverns, cafés and bars can be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, are accessible by a few minutes’ walk, yet distant enough not to disturb the perfect quietude of the hotel with their operations. There is a small car park directly at the hotel Mlyn, other parking places are ensured at a central car park about a 10 minute walk away.
