The first of “GRANDHOTEL PUPP” complex of buildings is the so-called Saxony Hall, which was built by the order of the then Lord Mayor Deiml in 1701. In doing so, the Mayor of Deiml laid out the base outline for the later hotel constructions. At the time when the glory of the Saxony Hall began to rise, another Lord Mayor Mr Andreas Becher began to govern the Carlsbad town hall. In 1951, the hotel was renamed to "Grandhotel Moscow", but in year 1989 returned back to its tradition and its original name.

Grandhotel Pupp de Luxe ***** offer accommodation in a 111 luxuriously equipped rooms with minibar, safe, satellite TV with Pay-TV, radio, telephone, internet, luxury bathroom and WC, some rooms are also equipped with air-conditioning. Grandhotel Pupp First Class**** offer accommodation in a 117 comfort rooms with minibar, safe, satellite TV with Pay-TV system, radio, telephone, internet, bathroom and WC (renovated in 2004 - 2006). History walked through every room; celebrities used them to stay for shorter or longer periods. Have a look at the rooms in which the movie stars were staying such as Whoopi Goldberg, Gregory Peck, Alan Alda, Michael Douglas, or Ornella Muti. A countless number of political figures used the accommodation here, too.
