Hotel Olympie stands in a picturesque valley (údolí Svatého Petra) 500 m from a skiing centre (the Stoh downhill run is 400 m distant). The building was built in 1923, originally for agricultural use, and has been used as a recreation centre since 1962. Špindlerův Mlýn has traditionally been known as the “Pearl of the Giant Mountains”, above all for its location among the highest Czech mountains, close to the peak of Mt. Sněžka, the very highest point in the Czech Republic. The mountains offer excellent conditions for recreation both in the summer as well as the winter months, offering something for hikers, cyclists, and above all for skiers.

Our newly reconstructed “Standard” rooms are furnished with wooden furniture, a writing desk, TV with satellite reception and a safe. All rooms contain luxurious bath facilities with shower, toilet and hair dryer. Furthermore, the Deluxe rooms have a minibar, offering each guest the drink of his or her choice. Each of these rooms also has its own balcony, with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain peaks and the St. Peter’s Valley (údolí Svatého Petra). The hotel Olympie offers accommodation in a total of 35 double and triple rooms, and 3 suites. It also boasts a sauna with a capacity of 6, whirlpool and traditional Thai massage. The hotel is suitable for accommodating groups, individuals, families with small children (baby-sitting available) as well as for company meetings.

The hotel Olympia Spindleruv Mlyn provides a very pleasant, quiet and cozy restaurant. We serve a buffet breakfast, and during the day offer a range of Czech, Moravian and international specialties. Alongside the attractive setting and excellent cooking, our restaurant also has a wide range of Czech and imported wines. In winter months, come warm yourself by the dancing flames of our fireplace, scenting the entire hotel with its subtle perfume of woodsmoke. Accommodated guests are provided with buffet breakfasts in the hotel restaurant, as well as a half-board menu. Our restaurant offers a wide range of Czech and international cuisine. Only a 5 - 10 minute walk away is the largest sports skiing area, Svatý Petr, or in winter months a skibus is available, stopping around 100 m from the hotel. The centre of town can be reached on foot in around 15 – 20 minutes.

St. Peter’s Valley is enclosed on the east by the Meadow Green (Luční louka). Here, in thsi scenic valley and close to the leading Czech skiing centre, stands the HOTEL OLYMPIE. The “Svatý Petr” ski area is the most important location for sports in Špindlerův Mlýn. Every year, it plays host to many important sports events. Directly inside the complex are 3 chairlift runs and five ski-tow runs, open in the winter season. In terms of length, elevation gain and maintenance, the downhill runs are regarded as the best in the entire Czech Republic.
